FOUNDED 2009
Luc Jalbert invented the laundry detergent sheet as part of the need from major retailers in an effort to reduce the use of bulky liquid detergents on their shelves.
2011 – EXPANDED OPERATIONS
Dissolvable laundry detergent sheet quickly became an enamoring concept for many retailers, Dizolve products hit major retail shelves, expanding access to sustainable laundry across North America and the UK
2014 – FIRST PATENT
Dizolve patents their laundry sheet manufacturing process, pioneering a new product category in eco-friendly cleaning
2021 – DISINFECTANT DISSOLVABLE SHEET
The product team created an innovative – Health Canada approved - disinfectant multi surface dissolvable sheet in response to COVID-19 pandemic – patent pending
2020 – NEW BEGINNINGS
A new management team came on board to re-launch Dizolve. The team improved on its original product and developed a premium detergent sheet.
2022 – OVER 100 MILLION JUGS SAVED
Dizolve reaches a massive environmental milestone—preventing over 100 Million plastic detergent jugs from entering landfills.
2025 – NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY
A state-of-the-art production facility opened in 2025, scaling operations to meet global demand and advancing eco-manufacturing practices.
2024 – EXPANDED CAPACITY
Dizolve doubled its manufacturing capacity, with state of the art equipment, including a new detergent blending plant.
2023 – FABRIC SOFTENER DISSOLVABLE SHEET
A first in the market, Dizolve developed and patented a dissolvable fabric softener sheet to be used in the wash cycle
